Andreas Peldszus

Computational linguist working at Retresco GmbH as a team lead developer NLP/ML.

About me

This is my academic homepage. My research interests include discourse and dialogue modelling; underspecification, incrementality and compositionality in meaning processing; annotation methodology.

I did my PhD at the University of Potsdam in Manfred Stede’s Applied Computational Linguistics Discourse Research Lab. In my dissertation project I developed explanatory models of argumentative text for the recognition of argumentation structure. I held doctoral scholarships from the Cusanuswerk and from the Collaborative Research Centre (SFB) 632. Prior to that, I received my Master’s degree in Computational Linguistics and Philosophy at Potsdam University.
